What happened at Sandy Hook had a huge impact on me.....so senseless, so cold, and so difficult for me to even imagine what those families are going thru. Newtown's heartbreak has a lot of us asking, "What can I do?" We will complete our first 26 Random Acts of Kindness by the end of 2012, then we have a committment to complete AT LEAST 26 Random Acts of Kindness every year. Remember, these Acts don't have to cost alot of money, just be kind to someone, expecting nothing in return. Just imagine the impact it would have on all Americans if we all did this....PLAY IT FORWARD! PEOPLE DO NOTICE, here's an email I recieved in January 2013: Hi. I have been cruising the internet looking for whoodles and came upon your site. I opened it and the first thing that I read was about your pledge to do 26 acts of kindness.
I am from Sandy Hook, CT and am constantly amazed by the love and kindness that the rest of the country is showing to us. I wanted to thank you so much for following the idea of 26 acts of kindness.
We miss our children and our educators daily but people like you make it so much more bearable.
