Golden Retrievers are beautiful, sturdy, and well-proportioned with a feathered, medium-length, cream to golden colored coat. The red color is more rare today , although initially, it was more popular. Their outer coat is water-repellent and they love to swim. They are intelligent, lovable, and well-mannered, easy to train, loyal, and eager to please. They are very patient and gentle with children, making them an excellent and popular family dog. They love to please and do well in obedience training and competition. They originated in Scotland and were bred to be a hunting dog by Lord Tweedmouth from the Tweed Water Spaniel and excel in hunting competition. Their wonderful disposition makes them popular as guide dogs for the blind, therapy dogs, and service dogs. They are average shedders.

I have been breeding Golden Retrievers for over 10 years and offer a 2 year health guarantee against genetic defects. My dogs have their OFA clearances and are AKC registered. They all have wonderful dispositions and accompany me daily to do ranch chores on our 35 acre horse ranch. They love to swim in our ponds and take walks on the property and "help" clean stalls.
I have 3 generations on site and have crossed hunting lines on show lines to produce a beautiful, intelligent dog with a great disposition that is easy to train and make a great companion animal.
Their breeding includes Goldrush, Sungold and Tangelo champion bloodlines.
